I have over 10 years of experience working in the health and fitness industry helping and guiding clients get stronger and to appreciate their body. I want to change your ability to approach life with a new outlook to how amazing your body is and can be, and in my opinion that happens through strength training and physical activity.

 

I want you to be the best version of yourself. Whether that’s you being confident to get back into exercise, maintain your strength and mobility so you can still go outside and kick the ball with your kids, or specific body composition goals in mind such as losing excess body fat, increasing lean muscle mass, and strength training goals like hitting new PB’s on your Deadlift or Bench press.

 

My programming and sessions are all based on what YOU want.

EDUCATE

The first step for anyone when starting your strength journey with me is that I want you to learn how to train correctly, taking into consideration your specific goals, training history, physiological structure and mindset.

There is no “one size fits all” approach with strength training and exercise. Educating yourself, and learning how to move your body efficiently, while pushing it to a threshold that is safe but allows physical change to occur is paramount to a long, injury free, and successful training journey and life.

PROGRESS

Progression is a key principle of strength training. Your progress in this arena should never stop. Your body is an amazing thing, constantly adapting to the stresses that you put it under. So it is important to constantly aim to progress your physical state further.

Whether that’s getting stronger, changing your body, changing your emotional state, you should always strive to be a better version of yourself. I aim to help and guide you through this.

RESULTS

Do not be afraid to achieve results. Do not feel guilty for wanting to be a better version of yourself. The first step is recognising this – that you want to be better!

Goals and results come in all sizes, there is no “too small” of an outcome here.

Training is a positive and fun experience. Recognise your results and how far you have come, and award yourself for it.

BODY RECOMPOSITION

Body Recomposition is the ability to lose body fat while increasing and maintaining lean muscle mass at the same time. This should always be the the goal when talking about “weight loss”. You don’t want to be a leaner, weaker version of yourself. You want to be a leaner STRONGER version of yourself.

TECHNIQUE

Every body is built differently. There is no such thing as “perfect technique”. Technique and form is individual – it depends on your levers, your mental approach to the exercise, your energy levels, your bodies skeletal and muscular structure. Your technique when training successfully is about moving weight from A to B as efficiently and consistently as possible in movement patterns that your body is comfortable doing.

STRENGTH

Every goal you may have, is usually dictated by you getting stronger first. Focusing on your strength development teaches you how high your physical capabilities truly are, and what your threshold is. Your strength development corresponds to a fitter, healthier, stronger version of yourself.
