I have over 15 years of experience working in the health and fitness industry helping and guiding clients get stronger and fitter, and to appreciate their body. 

 

My programming and sessions are all based on what YOU want. Whether you want to just be confident to get back into exercise, maintain your strength and mobility, specific body composition goals in mind such as losing excess body fat and increasing lean muscle mass, or strength training goals like hitting new PB’s on your Deadlift or Bench press – I have extensive knowledge in all these areas.

 

I’m here to guide you, to educate you, to make sure that you reach your individual goals as efficiently and as safely as possible, and to allow your training to become adaptable to where you are in life and what your goals arr, so you can create results that become sustainable for the rest of your life.

EDUCATE

There is no “one size fits all” approach with strength training and exercise. Educating yourself under my guidance, and learning how to move your body efficiently, while pushing it to a threshold that is safe but allows physical change to occur is paramount to a long, injury free, and successful training journey and life.

PROGRESS

Progression is a key principle of strength training. Your body is an amazing thing, constantly adapting to the stresses that you put it under. So it is important to constantly aim to progress your physical state further through correct and efficient strength training suited to you. I will help and guide you through this.

Do not be afraid to achieve results. Do not feel guilty for wanting to be a better version of yourself. The first step is recognising this – that you want to be better!

Goals and results come in all sizes, there is no “too small” of an outcome here.

BODY RECOMPOSITION

Body Recomposition is the ability to lose body fat while increasing and maintaining lean muscle mass at the same time. This should always be the the goal when talking about “weight loss”. You don’t want to be a leaner, weaker version of yourself. You want to be a leaner STRONGER version of yourself.

TECHNIQUE

There is no such thing as “perfect technique”. Technique and form is individual – it depends on your levers, your mental approach to the exercise, your bodies skeletal and muscular structure. Your technique when training successfully is about moving weight as efficiently and consistently as possible in movement patterns that your individual body is comfortable in doing.

STRENGTH

Every goal you may have, is usually dictated by you getting stronger first. Focusing on your strength development teaches you how high your physical capabilities truly are, and what your threshold is. Your strength development corresponds to a fitter, healthier, stronger version of yourself.
